Five days with, 48 without.
That’s the heartbreaking prospect facing All Blacks wing Sevu Reece, who announced the arrival of a daughter.
Reece, who has yet to take the field for the All Blacks in 2020, will likely travel to Australia with the All Blacks team on Sunday.

All Blacks wing Sevu Reece has welcomed a daughter into the world before heading to Australia.
A revised draw and the withdrawal of the South Africans from what was the Rugby Championship means that the All Blacks team and staff will be home by Christmas, but assuming the 14-day administered isolation still applies upon the arrival of back to New Zealand, it will probably be around 12. days in December before they are reunited with their families.

That means they will be out for about 48 days or just under seven weeks.

Sevu Reece has announced the birth of his little daughter.
Reece announced the new arrival, starting Tuesday, on Instagram.
“Glad you weren’t on Fiji time! Mila Talei Reece, ”he wrote. Presumably referring to the birth before Sunday.
“You bring so much happiness to your mother and me,” Reece posted on Instagram.

Reece’s teammates Ardie Savea and Nepo Laulala were listed on paternity leave by the All Blacks earlier this week as they wait for newcomers.
Wellington’s loose forward Du’Plessis Kirifi and Otago’s mainstay George Bower have been called in to cover their absence.
