Australian golf legend Greg Norman is bedridden with covid symptoms.
Two-time British Open champion Norman, who now lives in the United States, announced the news in an Instagram post, in which he appeared to be in a hospital bed.
Norman, 65, posted photos showing himself in a hospital room, but did not directly say that he had tested positive for COVID.
A day earlier, the former world number one said he was in quarantine at his home in Florida, with symptoms of covid.

This sums it up. My Christmas day, ”he wrote. “In the name of millions, fuck CoVid. [Let’s] leave this shit behind us never to experience it again. “
It came just a day after he posted a video message confirming that he was isolating himself after showing symptoms of coronavirus.
“I just got off the phone with my doctor, and even though I took a test on Tuesday and the results came back negative, I am showing mild symptoms of potential covid.
“I feel a lot like the flu, I have a mild fever, I have a cough, I have aches and pains, I have a mild headache.
“So I’m self-quarantined.”
Norman teamed up with his son Greg Jr last week at the PNC Championship which also featured Tiger and Charlie Woods.
“Let’s look to 2021 and beyond, and make this world a better, happier, more successful and happier place,” Norman said.
“Whatever the new normal is, we are going to make it the new normal.
“We have learned many lessons this year, it has been ugly.
“I, for one, am eager to get out of this quarantine and am eager to build whatever great future it is in 2021.”
