It is the day after the elections and the electoral map of the United States is moving in the direction of Joe Biden.
President Donald Trump has seen his lead disappear overnight and has taken to social media to condemn the results of mail-in ballots that appear to overwhelmingly favor Biden.
Twitter has pointed out that many of Trump’s tweets are misleading.
Trump has also been looking for vote counting irregularities to back up his unsubstantiated claims of widespread voter fraud.
One that was widely shared a couple of hours ago came from Matt Mackowiak, a conservative media personality who used to be the press secretary to a United States senator.
Mackowiak spotted an update to the vote count in Michigan that gave Joe Biden 100 percent of a batch of votes.
Its publication was widely cited as evidence of illegitimate vote counting.
“This is reason enough to go to court. No honest person can look at this and say that it is normal and carefree,” said Matt Walsh, another conservative media figure, sharing the post.
He quickly found his way to Trump, who tweeted in capital letters: “WHAT IS THIS ABOUT?”
Turns out, it was a typo.
Trump has also requested a recount in the state of Wisconsin and has filed a lawsuit demanding a halt to the vote count in Michigan.
Meanwhile, some members of the Trump family, Eric and his wife Lara, are heading to Philadelphia for a press conference, where they will likely challenge the integrity of the vote count.
They are bringing Rudy Giuliani with them, and this is what he is advertising on social media.
Biden’s team remains confident and the candidate has a simple answer to the Trump campaign’s efforts to stop the vote counting in key states on the battlefield.
