Social media users are showing their love for democracy, with their four-legged friends, at polling stations across the country.
Hashtags like #dogsatpollingstations are flooding Twitter schedules as dogs of different breeds are captured outside polling stations in community hallways and schools, while their owners cast their votes.
Social media, on Election Day, is covered by strict rules. The law prohibits anyone from doing anything that influences a vote on Election Day, between 7 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, when the polls close.

If social media isn’t your thing, send your polling station dog photos to [email protected] and we’ll include some of them here.
