A former aide to the president of the United States, Donald Trump, said he is “going through a psychotic episode” after finally realizing that he lost the election to Joe Biden.
Former White House communications worker Omarosa Manigault Newman told MSNBC that she believes she has finally come to terms with defeat, but remains so disconnected from reality with her coming out.
She says she is going through a “psychotic episode” and is concerned for her health.
“I think Donald Trump is going through a psychotic episode.
“I think he has accepted his loss, but his arrogance, his ego, will not allow him to accept that he is not going to be president in January.”
He also claims that Trump is now turning against his closest and most loyal employees and assistants.
Newman says she will “blame everyone else for her loss except him” and she “feels bad” for those still working under her.
The former assistant’s first deals with Trump were on The Apprentice show, where she was a contestant.
She says she thinks he’s trying to manipulate the election results like he used to do on his previous reality TV show.
Newman criticized Trump for treating the presidency like The Apprentice.
“But this is not ‘The Apprentice.’ This is not a reality show. The American people need real leadership, not a reality TV host that Donald Trump is returning to.”
After resigning from the Trump administration in 2018, Newman has been one of the president’s most vocal critics.
She has called him a racist and claims that first lady Melania Trump will divorce him once her reign as leader ends.
President-elect Joe Biden will take office as the 46th president of the United States on January 20.
