The West Indies touring cricket team has been banned from training and is confined to their hotel rooms after violating administered isolation rules on several occasions.

Health Director General Dr. Ashley Bloomfield said her rape came to light yesterday, which was the 11th day of her 14-day stay.

They met in groups in the hallways, shared food, chatted, and did not stay in their rooms, as they were required to.

The team was warned, but it was discovered that some members had gathered outside the rooms after that.

Further investigation found CCTV footage of team members breaking the rules on other occasions as well. Dr. Bloomfield couldn’t say how early.

“It surprised me more than anything. They clearly knew what the expectations were, they had signed up for this before the tour.

“I understand they had toured the UK at the beginning of the year so they had already been through this experience.”

Dr. Bloomfield said they were warned and that all their privileges had been revoked.

“We immediately rescind your … privilege to meet and train.

“They are no longer allowed to train together, everyone must stay in their rooms.”

They had to train today and tomorrow.

He said it was the medical health officer to decide when the team would be allowed to come out of quarantine.

“We have indicated that they may need to stay longer. We will not hesitate to do so if we believe there is any risk to the public.”

All team members tested negative twice, he said. The test results of the 12th are yet to come.

Your governing body has been notified for disciplinary action.

Dr Bloomfield said it was not within his purview to send the team home.
