Police received more than 40 complaints of dangerous driving linked to the procession on Saturday, November 7.
The complaints included blocked intersections, vehicles driven on the wrong side of the road, dangerous overtaking, and sustained loss of traction in the vicinity of pedestrians.
Police say more than 200 infringement notices were issued to drivers involved in the procession after police reviewed the footage.
Police also identified more than a dozen vehicles as involved in serious driving offenses.
Inspector Simon Walker said police appreciated that the family and friends of the young man who died were grieving, but were not driving in an acceptable manner.
“The driving behaviors shown present a very real risk to those involved, as well as other road users, and will not be tolerated,” he said.
“If you choose to put other drivers at risk through dangerous driving activity, such as sustained loss of traction, you can expect follow-up action from the police and your vehicle may be impounded.”
