Health authorities are asking patrons who attended a pub on Auckland’s north shore on Friday night to isolate themselves and get tested for Covid-19 after a person who later tested positive for the virus attended the venue. .

“A person now confirmed with Covid-19 was infectious while in the pub from 7.30pm to 10pm. Anyone who was at The Malt in Greenhithe during this time should isolate themselves and get tested,” says the Regional Health Service Auckland Public.
A spokesman for the health service says some close contacts have been identified in the pub and are being contacted.
