The Health Ministry will update the number of people with coronavirus in New Zealand on Sunday afternoon.
The update will cover whether there are more community cases of Covid-19, after a Northland woman tested positive on January 23, and two cases in North Auckland tested positive on Thursday, after leaving managed isolation at the Pullman Hotel. from Auckland.
In the ministry’s update on Saturday, there were no new cases of Covid-19 in the community, but rather a new case in managed isolation: a person who arrived from the US on January 28.
As of Saturday, there were 71 active cases of the virus, including the two cases from the Auckland community.

People are advised to isolate themselves and get tested for the coronavirus if they were in any of the sights linked to the new Auckland cases.
While it is a long weekend in the north of the North Island due to Auckland’s Anniversary Day, several test stations are still open in Auckland and Northland.
People were encouraged to scan the Covid Tracer app, after an Auckland business was prosecuted for failing to display the QR code.
New measures went into effect Saturday for guests and staff at the isolation facility run by Pullman as investigations into the breach continued.
Guests must remain in their rooms after the test on the 12th, until they receive a negative result.
However, returnees leaving the Pullman will also have to undergo a test five days after leaving the facility.
They are required to stay home and increase the use of face masks until they receive a negative test. Anyone who develops Covid-19 symptoms after leaving the Pullman should isolate themselves and get tested.
Staff working at Pullman are required to be tested twice a week through February 14.
