There are four cases of coronavirus in New Zealand, all detected in a controlled manner.
One case came from the Philippines, another from Peru and two from Hong Kong.
An alleged landmark case in Wellington is also being investigated but is not included in today’s official figures, the Health Ministry said.
That person, who flew in from the US in September, became ill after completing the mandatory 14 days in a managed isolation facility, where she was asymptomatic.

They returned a “weak” positive test Thursday after feeling unwell, meaning the infection was historic. Since then they have been moved to a managed isolation facility in Wellington.
The Ministry of Health is conducting further tests, including serology, to fully confirm that the disease is historical.
“These cases can arise after the person has a respiratory illness that is not COVID-19, such as a cold or influenza,” said a spokeswoman.
“Residual virus remnants can be collected by smear, and inflammation often causes virus particles that had not previously been collected.”
Historical cases are considered low risk to the community, but Stuff understand that contact tracing is in place as a precaution.
The Health Ministry expected to have more information about the landmark case later on Friday.
The person who arrived from the Philippines traveled through Hong Kong and arrived at an Auckland isolation facility on 3 October.
They tested positive for Covid-19 as part of routine testing on the 12th and are now in the Jet Park quarantine facility in Auckland.
Peru’s case arrived in the country via Mexico and the United States on October 10 and tested positive on the third day of his stay in an isolation center in Christchurch.
The Hong Kong couple arrived at an Auckland isolation facility on October 11 and returned a positive Covid-19 test three days later. They were also taken to the Jet Park quarantine facility.
The total number of active cases in New Zealand is 46, all imported and none in the community.
Two new cases were reported Thursday, both in isolation.
The first was a person who arrived from India via Dubai on October 9 and the second was a person who arrived from San Francisco on October 12.
