Trump’s doctor, Sean Conley, released a memo on Sunday clarifying it.

The White House first announced that he had been diagnosed with Covid-19 on October 1.

Trump was set to declare victory over the virus Monday morning (AEDT) when he returned to Fox News for an interview with Maria Bartiromo, days after he called and spoke to her online for nearly an hour last week. .

“The note … that says you are no longer considered a transmission risk, does this suggest that you no longer have Covid?” Bartiromo asked.

“Yes, and not only that, I seem to be immune,” Trump said.

He said he could be “immune” for “maybe a long time, maybe a short time, it could be a lifetime, no one really knows, but I’m immune,” Trump said.

“The president is in very good shape to fight the battles,” he added.

“I have to tell you that I feel fantastic. I really feel good. And I even feel good about the fact that, you know, the word immunity means something, really having a protective glow means something,” Trump said.

It was previously noted that Trump was wearing a bandage on his right hand, raising further questions about the nature of his recovery from the coronavirus and whether he is still taking medication.

US Senator from Kentucky Rand Paul, a staunch libertarian, said early Monday morning that he had spoken to the president and that “it sounds great.”

Paul added that Trump was also “ending the war in Afghanistan” and wants to “stop our endless wars”, hoping that the troops will be home “by Christmas.”
