The Queen has emphasized the importance of maintaining the coronavirus blockade during the Bank of Easter holiday weekend, saying that “by staying separate we keep others safe.”

His Majesty has delivered his first Easter audio address, which had the message resolved: “We know the coronavirus will not defeat us.”

The 93-year-old monarch’s prerecorded speech offered support to those who mark Easter in private and to the country in general, and she said: ‘But Easter is not canceled; in fact, we need Easter as much as ever.

It ended on a positive note: “May the living flame of Easter hope be a constant guide as we face the future.”

The speech came after the Queen’s televised speech to the nation last Sunday when she said that by staying together the country would overcome the virus and told those incarcerated, “We will see each other again.”

His messages illustrate the importance of the head of the nation appearing in moments of crisis to mobilize the country and maintain morale.

The deadly coronavirus claimed an additional 917 patients in the UK in the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to a staggering 9,875.

Total cases also increased from 5,233 to 78,991 on Friday after 18,091 additional tests were performed, 1,025 fewer than on Friday.

The Queen said in her recorded audio message on Good Friday at Windsor Castle: “ This year, Easter will be different for many of us, but by staying separate we keep others safe. But Easter is not canceled; in fact, we need Easter as much as ever.

Easter is the most important period in the religious calendar for Christians. It is the culmination of Holy Week and celebrates the resurrection of Christ.

The government is urging people to stay home this Easter amid fears that the weather will continue, people will flock to parks and beaches and undermine their strategy of social distancing.

Health Secretary Matt Hancock acknowledged the warm weather, but said it was too early to lift the social distancing measures.

The Queen said: ‘The discovery of the risen Christ on the first Easter Day gave his followers a new hope and a new purpose, and we can all be encouraged by this. We know that the coronavirus will not defeat us.

“ As dark as death can be, particularly for those who suffer pain, light and life are greater. May the living flame of Easter hope be a constant guide as we face the future. ”

The message was written by the Queen, who has strong religious faith, and was accompanied by images of a candle lighting an altar illustrating her theme of “light overcoming darkness.”

Speaking about the symbolic importance of lighting candles, he added: “ They seem to speak to all cultures and attract people of all faiths and none.

‘They light up on birthday cakes and to commemorate family anniversaries, when we gather happily around a light source. It unites us.

The social estrangement was observed during the recording of the message, sent through the Royal Family’s social media accounts, with the Queen delivering the address alone into a microphone installed in the White Room of Windsor Castle while the sound engineer was in a nearby room.

Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby will deliver his Easter sermon in a video recorded in his department at Lambeth Palace on Sunday.

He had an audience with the Queen on Thursday, speaking to the monarch on the phone due to the closure.

Britain is on track to reach the grim milestone of 10,000 deaths on Easter Sunday, which the country will spend under control despite the glorious weather.
