A US school board member who sparked outrage after once saying she was “disgusted” with the LGBT curriculum, watched her career go down the toilet after accidentally sharing in the bathroom during a meeting public in Zoom.

Frances Cogelja has resigned as a school trustee in New Jersey following the embarrassing video.

While on a Zoom call, he took his laptop into the bathroom to relieve himself, unaware that his camera was still on.

His trip to the bathroom was witnessed by about 140 attendees, including students.

The board’s vice chairman, Scott James-Vickery, later commented on the incident, saying they are “moving on” without Cogelja.

“As far as I am concerned, while our teachers are professionals and you are at home sitting in the bathroom, we carry on with this district doing our best,” he said.

The next day, Cogelja resigned.

Cogelja told the New York Post that he will not comment on the embarrassing mistake and resignation.

It is not the first time that Cogelja has made headlines for the wrong reasons.

Earlier in the year, she started smelly after saying she was “disgusted and dismayed” by a new law that required LGBT history to be taught in classrooms, NorthJersey.com reported at the time.

“I find it disgusting that someone’s sexual preferences have something to do with their contributions or achievements in society,” Cogelja wrote in an email to Acting Superintendent Rosemary Marks in February.

“Wherever I look, this alternative lifestyle narrative is being pushed (down) our children’s throats. Where does it end?”

At a meeting, the parents demanded Cogelja’s resignation and spent hours attacking his comments.
