Prince Charles told Princess Diana that he did not love her the night before their fairytale wedding in 1981, according to Penny Thornton, an astrologer consulted by Diana.
Thornton made the claims during an interview for the documentary. The Diana interview: a princess’s revenge which aired in the UK overnight.
“One of the most shocking things Diana told me was that the night before the wedding, Charles told her that he didn’t love her,” Thornton said.

“I think Charles didn’t want to go to the wedding under a false premise. I wanted to fix things with her and it was devastating for Diana.
“She didn’t want to go through with the wedding at the time. She thought about not attending the wedding. “
The documentary comes 25 years after the explosive Panorama de Diana interview on the BBC.
Nearly 23 million people in the UK tuned in to watch Diana’s revealing interview with journalist Martin Bashir, during which she made her infamous “There were three of us in this marriage” statement, referring to herself, Prince Charles and Camilla Parker. -Bowles.
Diana’s brother Charles Spencer called for an investigation into the original show, saying that Bashir used fake bank statements to convince Diana to participate.
Spencer said Bashir showed him falsified bank statements purporting to show that two high-ranking members of the Welsh court were being paid for information about Diana.
The BBC has promised that there will be an investigation into the allegations.
In a statement to People magazine, the public broadcaster said: “The BBC has apologized. We are happy to repeat that apology.
“And even though this was a quarter century ago, we will absolutely, robustly and fairly, investigate substantial new information. We have asked Earl Spencer to share more information with the BBC.
“Unfortunately, we are hampered at this time by the simple fact that we cannot discuss any of this with Martin Bashir, as he is seriously ill.
“When it’s okay, of course, we’ll do an investigation into these new issues.”
