Tanya Roberts, who captivated James Bond in A View to a Kill and later played Midge Pinciotti on the comedy That ’70s Show, has been hospitalized after falling at her home. The actress had been reported in error by her publicist yesterday.

Roberts’s publicist, Mike Pingel, later told The Associated Press today that Roberts, 65, was still alive at 10 a.m. PST but was in poor condition.

He had previously said that Roberts collapsed at her home on December 24 and was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she is believed to have died on Monday.

Pingel said Robert’s partner Lance O’Brien told him that he was holding his wife and that she “looked like he slipped away.”

O’Brien, who was unable to see Roberts at the hospital due to COVID-19 restrictions, was able to visit Sunday for a final goodbye, Pingel said. The actor does not have the virus, he said.

The publicist said he is waiting for more updates on Roberts’ condition.

Several media outlets, including the AP, reported on Roberts’s death. The AP removed his obituary and sent a notice noting that the actor was still alive.

One of Robert’s highest-profile roles was playing geologist Stacey Sutton alongside Roger Moore in 1985’s “A View to a Kill.”

Roberts also appeared in fantasy adventure films such as “The Beastmaster” and “Hearts and Armor.” She replaced Shelley Hack in “Charlie’s Angels”, joining Jaclyn Smith and Cheryl Ladd as the third Angel Julie. She also played the comic book heroine Sheena, a female version of the Tarzan story, in a 1984 film.

A new generation of fans saw her on “That ’70s Show,” playing Midge, mother of Laura Prepon’s character Donna.
