Wallabies junior Filipo Daugunu spoke about the conversation but walked off the field after a yellow card for a dangerous tackle to the All Blacks off Caleb Clarke in the Bledisloe Cup clash in Sydney tonight.
In the lead up to Test 3, Daugunu said the Wallabies were ready to “crush” Clarke after his impressive starting debut at Eden Park.
“Our goal is to kick him and compete; to catch him so we can crush him … I can’t wait to hit him,” Daugunu said.

However, he was perhaps too aggressive, as his first All Black entry led to a yellow card.
Daugunu was sent from the field four minutes into the test after knocking Clarke into the air as the All Blacks winger jumped for a high ball.
Newstalk ZB commentator and All Blacks hooker James Parsons said Daugunu was lucky not to receive a red card for the tackle.
The All Blacks opened the scoring while Daugunu was off the field when prop Karl Tu’inukuafe dived more than three minutes later and led 26-0 at halftime.
