Bill Murray and Jenny Lewis have covered Drake’s song ‘Laugh Now Cry Later’.
In the latest issue of Things We Didn’t Know We Needed is Bill Murray and Jenny Lewis covering Drake’s summer track. Laugh now Cry Later with Lil Durk.
In an Instagram Live session on Wednesday, old friends Murray and Lewis performed their own simplified version of Laugh now Cry Later, with Lewis on guitar and Murray on snare and kick drum.
Lewis sang the chorus of the song: “Sometimes we laugh and sometimes we cry, but I guess you already know, baby / I took half and she took it all, slower baby / We took a trip, now we’re on your block and it’s like a ghost town, honey. “

Murray and Lewis have collaborated before, on the 2015 special directed by Sofia Coppola. A very Murray Christmas.
Drake released the exclusively produced track by Cardo, G. Ry, Roget Chahayed, and Yung in mid-August along with a music video featuring Durk and cameos from various star athletes including Kevin Durant, Marshawn Lynch, and Odell Beckham Jr.
The Dave Meyers-directed video was also shot at Nike’s world headquarters in Oregon. The song also made headlines when fans believed Durk’s lyrics shot 6ix9ine off: “Can’t you play that little kid at the club? Because we don’t listen to rats, ”Durk raps.
