A high wind warning has forced speed restrictions on the Auckland Harbor Bridge.
The Waka Kotahi NZ Transportation Agency issued the warning to motorists at 9 am.
High-sided vehicles and motorcycles are urged to take extra care until gusts of wind subside.
Highway authorities have not advised whether the bridge may be temporarily closed if winds become stronger in the central area of the city.
The bridge has been closed multiple times since mid-September, when gusts of up to 127 km / h overturned a container truck and damaged a strut on top of the bridge’s structure.
