Archie’s red hair steals the show on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Christmas card

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have released their first Christmas card from the US and, to no one’s surprise, all eyes are on little Archie.

Prince Harry and Meghan uploaded a unique holiday card featuring a hand-painted picture of the couple with 18-month-old Archie and their beloved two dogs sitting in front of a little house.

The colorful image was posted on the social media accounts of the Mayhew charity and there was a detail that fans quickly picked up on.

Fans were quick to flood the comment section with love and praise, mostly for Archie and his hair, which is the flaming hair in the paint.

“This is so unique and so cute! Look at Archie!” said one user.

“OMG the red hair !!” wrote another.

“Gorgeous! Look at Archie’s red hair!”

“I absolutely adore this card. And King Archie has red hair.”

“King Archie has red hair like his dad.”

“Is that red hair I see on little Archie?” a fan muttered.

The painting is based on a photo taken this month at the family’s $ 20 million estate in Montecito, California, by Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, according to a spokesperson.

“The little Christmas tree, including the home decorations and other decorations, were selected by Archie, and the tree will be replanted after the holidays.”

With lush green gardens surrounding the family, the image captures the parents, who retired as royalty this year, playing with their son in a cottage.

A statement from the Duchess on the organization’s website reads: “This year we as a family have made donations to various charities with you in mind.

“From a local California organization helping families lift themselves out of homelessness, to two of our sponsorships in the UK – one supporting animal and community welfare, the other a memorial fund for a dear friend who helps educate children and fight poverty in Uganda, we have honored his work on behalf of all of us. “

The family dogs sit front and center of the image.

The text on the card read: “Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.”

Archie has not been publicly photographed since his first birthday in May, when Meghan shared a video of the couple reading a book called Duck. Rabbit! in support of a Save The Children campaign.
