Apple announced a new 13-inch MacBook Pro on Monday.

The base model has twice as much storage as the latest version, 256GB, but it starts at the same price of $ 1,299. It also has a new keyboard, which was added to the 16-inch MacBook Pro and new MacBook Air previously. Earlier versions of MacBook keyboards were plagued with issues that caused them to break.

Apple is offering Intel’s 10th generation chips in some of the high-end models, but in particular it is still using the older 8th generation chips in some of its cheaper models, including the entry-level option. So you’ll need to spend at least $ 1,799 for a new 13-inch MacBook Air with a 10th-gen Intel processor.

And, like the previous models, it still has Apple’s touch bar on the top row of keys, which provides different shortcuts depending on the application you have open.

It is the last announcement of Apple’s hardware, after several that were made in the previous weeks. In March, Apple released its new MacBook Air laptop and two iPads Pro. Then, in April, it released its new $ 399 iPhone SE.

Apple generally holds March events where it may have featured some of these products. But it’s also possible that Apple is starting to announce some of the devices that it would otherwise have announced during its annual WWDC event in June. That’s a developer event where Apple is mostly focused on new software, but sometimes it introduces new products, like Macs.

The new 13-inch MacBook Air is available for order starting Monday and will begin arriving at customers on weekends.
