Americans looking for ‘how to move to New Zealand’ skyrocket during tight election race

As the world waits to find out who won the presidency of the United States, Americans are already exploring their options, including a move to the Land of the Long White Cloud.

Google trends have shown a massive increase in searches for how to move to New Zealand.

Americans have also taken to Twitter to share their hopes of moving to New Zealand.

At 5.37 p.m. M., The search for “how to move to New Zealand” peaked at 100 with a large number of Google searches coming from California, including Los Angeles.

Biden won California, the longest electoral tour in the nation.

However, this is not the first time these Google searches have skyrocketed.

Just 20 minutes into the September “chaotic” and “fucking show” debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden, Americans got tired of Google Trends showing a substantial increase in the search for “how to move to New Zealand.”

Google Trends searches are ranked between 0 and 100, where 0 means not enough data and 100 indicates maximum popularity.

Less than an hour into the debate, the search for “how to move to New Zealand” came in at 75 out of 100.

By the end of the debate, it had reached 100.

In the past, celebrities have also said they will leave the states if Donald Trump is re-elected for another four years.

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, Bruce Springsteen, Ricky Martin and Tommy Lee are among those who have said they would be moving.

However, some celebrities did not deliver: In 2018, stars like Miley Cryus, Chelsea Handler, Samuel L Jackson and Amy Schumer vowed to leave the states if Trump won.

He did, but the celebrities still stood still.

In September, Legend hinted that he and his wife Teigen could pack up their family and move from their home state of California.

The couple who campaigned for Biden in Philadelphia said they are “exhausted” by Trump and called his leadership “shameful.”

“Every now and then you think about it,” Legend said of leaving the United States.

“We were born and raised here, all of our families are here. It would be difficult to leave.

“But I don’t know what one is supposed to do when you have a leader who is trying to destroy democracy.

“At some point, if that project [to destroy democracy] To be successful in any way, you would have to think about going to a place that is a true democracy, that respects the rule of law and human rights.

“If America chooses to be that place, people will have to start thinking about going somewhere else. It’s really unsettling and disturbing,” he said.
