Sir John Kirwan has called up the All Blacks leaders, following the team’s historic loss to Argentina in Sydney.
It was the first time the South American nation defeated the All Blacks, and they did.
Too physical, too hungry, too good for Ian Foster’s men, who seemed frustrated at all times as the Pumas’ relentless line speed took its toll on the Kiwis.
Speaking after the game, Kirwan questioned decision-making and discipline down the stretch.

“Predictable. They (the All Blacks) were predictable,” he said.
“Argentina was knocking us down every time we put it in contact, and we didn’t have a short kicking game in the second half to counter it.
“We get frustrated. The leaders got frustrated and gave away silly penalties.
Sam Cane acknowledged it after the game, saying that the Cougars’ line speed led the All Blacks to make “dumb mistakes.”
Argentina’s intention was clear in the initial exchanges.
Blind wing and captain Pablo Matera could be heard talking to referee Angus Gardner, after an off-the-ball altercation, saying “they must be respectful, I play for my country.”
“They were more hungry to jump on the loose ball. Honestly, that was the best defensive effort I’ve seen from either side in a long time, ”Kirwan said.
“I think England showed everyone a model at the World Cup; Get up quick, put them under pressure and they don’t have a plan B. “
It is the first time the All Blacks have lost consecutive games since 2011.
