A safe pair of hands on the rugby field, it turns out that Barrett is calm under pressure in all aspects of life.
Barrett’s wife, Hannah Barrett, has revealed, via Instagram, that it was her husband who gave birth to their baby.

Beauden Barrett and his wife Hannah have welcomed their first child into the world.
The couple announced the arrival of their first child, Billie Rose Barrett, on Friday night after his birth on Wednesday.

“Beauden really delivered,” Hannah Barrett wrote on her Instagram story Monday.
“I took it out and put it on my chest.”
The couple chose the name Billie, the same name as their All Blacks playmate Richie Mo’unga and his wife Sophie.

Beauden Barrett presented the Ranfurly Shield to Taranaki and her first baby in a week.
Hannah Barrett has revealed the inspiration for the name on her Instagram story.
“I really like male names and we had been calling her that since I found out she was pregnant.”
