In a video posted to Instagram, Hilaria refuted online speculation that she uses a fake Spanish accent.
Hilaria Baldwin has responded to accusations that she pretends to be of Spanish origin.
The 36-year-old, who is Alec Baldwin’s wife, posted a video on Instagram Sunday to discuss viral claims that she uses a fake Spanish accent, among other things.
“I have seen online chats questioning my identity and culture. This is something that I take very seriously, and for those who ask me, I reiterate my story, as I have done many times before, ”said Baldwin. “I was born in Boston and grew up spending time with my family between Massachusetts and Spain. My parents and my brother live in Spain and I chose to live here, in the United States ”.

She also mentioned the reason she and Baldwin’s five children were given Spanish names, which she said is intended to “celebrate both cultures in our home.” She added: “Alec and I are raising our bilingual children, just like they raised me. this is very important to me. I understand that my story is a little different, but it is mine and I am very proud of it ”.
Baldwin’s inheritance faced scrutiny when Twitter user @lenibriscoe wrote last week how impressed they were with “Hilaria Baldwin’s commitment to her decade-long rift in which she poses as a Spanish person.”
“Some are so spectacularly false. And they have said it about the people I love. False things. Fake things, ”added Baldwin. “When you love someone, you want to defend him.”
