Emergency services are in a two-car accident on Auckland’s Northwest Highway this morning.
The incident occurred on the Te Atatū access ramp shortly after 7 am, police said.
It is not yet known if anyone was injured in the collision, but motorists in the area are warned to expect delays.
The New Zealand Transport Agency issued an alert through its social media sites to inform the public that one of the lanes is still in operation.
A traffic camera shows several people standing around the area next to two crashed cars.
The accident occurs when the Covid-19 alert level 3 lockdown has been lifted in Auckland; enabling people to return to work offices and schools today.
