Chase fans are enraged by contestants’ excuse for not responding correctly

Tonight’s The Chase episode left fans furious at home with a contestant’s excuse for missing a few questions.

Facing tonight’s Huntress, Governor Anne Hegerty herself, was Penzance-born contestant Kit.

He liked to spend his time chasing autographs of celebrities, the animal handling instructor Kit was ready for his attempt to win the big moment against Hegerty.

However, when host Bradley Walsh asked the questions, Kit ran into some drawbacks, especially when asked about some historical events.

“Before my time,” said Kit.

However, it was his response to falling for these questions that irritated viewers at home.

As for social media, fans of The Chase were unhappy with Kit’s response to Bradley’s questions.

One led to Twitter, writing: “Before my time !!! #TheChase”

Another unimpressed viewer tweeted, “I was born in the ’90s, but I know things from years before I was a cop when people say before my time.”

A much more poetic Twitter user wrote a song: “There was once a man named Kit who wanted to win a lot.”

Bradley Walsh seemed surprised by how things went

“He continued on The Chase, fell flat on his face and made himself look like a t * t #the chasing

Finally, a devoted Chase fan joked, “How many wives did Henry VIII have? Kit: Before my time #The chasing. ”

Despite a good try, Kit was unable to advance to the end of the episode, with Bradley saying, “Kit, I’m sorry to lose you, buddy.”

However, Kit was glad that he had the opportunity to play.

“I’m glad I came!” he replied cheerfully.
