It is May 4, which means it is Star Wars Day. And it’s not just Disney and Lucasfilm celebrating the day alongside the hordes of Star Wars fans, sometimes automakers get involved, too. As such, here are five of the best Star Wars-themed vehicles released over the years.
Nissan Maxima by Kylo Ren
Nissan has had a long-standing relationship with Lucasfilm and has produced several concept cars related to the most recent sequel trilogy. It’s hard to narrow it down to just one, but the Kylo Ren Maxima would have to be our choice.
The manufacturer added a custom lower front spoiler and a “shocking hood” while the body is coated to the characters’ color-matching specifications. The project is completed by a set of randomly pulsing red headlights and underbody lighting, similar to Kylo Ren’s cross guard lightsaber.

Dodge Charger / Challenger and Kylo Ren Viper ACR First Order
FCA entered the Star Wars fever in 2015 and created two special Stormtrooper editions of the Charger and the Challenger. Both were specified at the SRT level, with 527kW Hellcat engines included, and toured the streets of Las Vegas during the construction of The Force Awakens. Hot Wheels Darth Vader Car
This looks like a stranger Cars scene removed. It’s a full-size version of one of the 1/64 Star Wars Hot Wheels models built on the bones of a Chevrolet Corvette C6. He was able to drive, apparently capable of speeds of over 240km / h and emit Vader’s iconic breath sounds at idle. It seems strange enough but to each his own …
A fully customized X-34 Landspeeder
It’s not an official collaboration, but it’s too cool not to include it. Creator Daniel Deutsch built the replica in 2007 from scratch on a custom aluminum chassis. “The electric drive system is capable of reaching a top speed of around 25 mph (40 km / h). The slider is the same size as the original and can travel several miles on a single battery charge, “he said, according to Slashgear
First order AT-M6 Nissan Titan
The Nissan Titan is a good workhorse for those who need a full-size truck, but did you know it can carry a full turbolaser cannon in its tray? Apparently, the MegaCaliber Six turbolaser needs to be installed on the back of a specially designed walker (truck) and has its own dedicated power generator and fuel cells to fire faster. If that’s the wrong reason to buy a truck, we don’t want to be right.
