Scrubs’ Sam Lloyd is dead.
Sam Lloyd, best known for his role as attorney Ted Buckland on the hit comedy television series Scrubs, Died on Friday. He was 56 years old.
According to a Yahoo report, Lloyd was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor in 2019.
A GoFundMe campaign was created by Scrubs Producer Tom Hobert and his wife.
In a March 5 update, Hobert wrote that Lloyd underwent brain surgery to remove the tumor after targeted therapy treatments that lost effectiveness after nine months.

While the tumor was removed, the report said Lloyd experienced complications and was transferred to the intensive care unit at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Scrubs Creator Bill Lawrence went to social media on Friday and called the veteran actor “a really kind and sweet guy.” Zach Braff, the star of ScrubsHe also paid his respects.
Lloyd had more than 60 acting credits during a 30-year career, which included television appearances in Desperate, shameless housewives, modern family, Spin City and Seinfeld.
His film credits include Galaxy Quest and Flubber.
Lloyd was also an accomplished musician, playing the guitar during an episode of Scrubs.
Scrubs co-star Robert Maschio called Lloyd “the kindest man I’ve ever met. Take it easy, Sam, rest in peace.
