Former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson may be 53, but with a video upload he showed the whole world why he is still under consideration for the “Baddest Man on the Planet.”
And it also showed that if he wanted to return to the ring, he could still cause serious damage with his lethal power and speed.
In a post on his social media channels, Tyson worked on the pads and body bag for an individual that most people are glad is not them. The amazing clip left jaws all over the planet on the ground.
“OH S ***! Don’t get me excited about this! Mike Tyson is ready for 12 rounds right now,” wrote UFC commentator Joe Rogan.
“Jesus! Iron Mike still has him at the age of 53. He is still absolutely terrifying. Those body hooks,” boxing journalist Chisanga Malata tweeted.
“Mike Tyson at 53 is still scary,” wrote SportsCenter.
Tyson wreaked havoc during his boxing career by putting opponents to sleep regularly thanks to the destructive power in both hands that accompanied his blinding speed.
The terrifying clip comes after Tyson announced that he was training for a surprising return to boxing amid plans to compete in four-round exhibition fights for charity.
Iron Mike last entered the ring in June 2005, where he was stopped by Kevin McBride in what turned out to be the final bout of his professional career.
The 53-year-old man claims to be in the best shape of his life.
The ‘Baddest Man on the Planet’ was crowned the youngest world champion in history at the age of 20, and his illustrious 20-year career saw him knock out 44 of his 50 opponents.
His former coach has even claimed that Iron Mike would still knock out fellow American Deontay Wilder in a minute if he trained for six weeks.
And it turns out that Tyson is getting in shape after he revealed he’s doing cardio and boxing exercises to prepare for his return to the ring.
Speaking live on Instagram with rapper T.I. He said, “I have been hitting the gloves for the past week.
“That has been hard, my body is really up and very sore from hitting the gloves.”
“I’ve been exercising, I’ve tried to get in the ring, I think I’m going to put on some shows and get in shape.”
“I want to go to the gym and get in shape so I can put on three or four round exhibits for some charities and whatnot.
“Some charity shows, earning money, helping some drug-affected and homeless mothers like me.
“I do two hours on cardio, do the bike and treadmill for an hour, then do some light weights, 300, 250 reps.
“So I start my day with boxing, I go in and hit my gloves, 30 minutes, 25 minutes, I start to be in better shape.”
“I’m starting to put those combinations together. It hurts, I feel like three guys kicked my ass.”
