The OnePlus 8 series may have been released recently, but we are still eagerly awaiting the release of the frequently leaked OnePlus Z. Now a new leak through True-tech has shown what the OnePlus Z could be in person.

The image shows a phone with a center-mounted drill hole and a flat screen, rather than a curved design and off-center drill hole seen in the OnePlus 8 series. However, this would be in line with previously disclosed renders. . True-techThe image below.

We don’t see much else in the image, but it does point to the presence of a fingerprint sensor on the screen here. This would not be a surprise given that OnePlus has used this feature since OnePlus 6T from 2018. It also means that we can expect an OLED display as well, as on-screen scanners are only available on OLED panels for now. Otherwise we can distinguish the volume buttons on the left and the alert slider / power key combination on the right.

However, we should take this new look with a grain of salt as there is still a chance that it is a well crafted fake. Regardless, OnePlus Z is rumored to offer a MediaTek 5G processor, 4,000 mAh battery, and 30W charging speeds. All leaks point to a July launch window, so we have time to go until then.
