Three men and a boy have been charged with more than 50 felonies related to the alleged rape of three teenagers in Brisbane last year.

Police will allege that the 24, 21 and 20-year-old men, as well as a 16-year-old boy, invited three teenagers to a party in Toowong, where the girls were drugged and sexually assaulted multiple times.

Each of the four has been charged with seven counts of rape, three counts of administering a narcotic drug to commit rape, two counts of sexual assault, violating instructions, and drug-related offenses.

On Thursday morning, the men and the boy were arrested by detectives with the help of the Dog Squad, Tactical Crime Squad and other specialized units.

Detectives from the Inner West Child Protection Investigation Unit and the Inner West Crime Group began Operation Tango Whirlpool in December 2020, culminating in the execution of four search warrants at addresses in southern Brisbane on April 1. .

The defendants are due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on April 3.

Police are calling for anyone with more information related to the matter or victims of similar incidents to come forward.
