An investigation is underway after a man was knocked unconscious outside the Cafe Mexicano.

The serious assault, which was captured on video, occurred after a verbal altercation between a group of men, believed to be security guards at the cafe, and a member of the public.

Mexican Cafe General Manager Matthieu Ferragati said the incident was dire and the cafeteria has since replaced his security company.

“I feel really bad for the victim and I hope something like this never happens again.”
