The tent was installed on the edge of a 200 meter high cliff.
Officials warned a family in the UK after it was discovered that they had set up a tent on the edge of a cliff that is well known for landslides.
Staithes Coast Guard photos show the 200-meter cliffside tent on North Yorkshire’s Cleveland Way.
In a Facebook post, the Coast Guard said police also spoke to the two adults and the child for violating coronavirus restrictions.
“Coast Guard salvage officers gave safety advice due to the dangerous location of their store, especially with the recent landslides.

“If you walk Cleveland Way, stay on designated trails.”
Adam Turner of HM Coastguard told the Yorkshire Post that the family was in an “extremely dangerous situation and had no idea of the danger they were in”.
“The edges of the cliffs are really unstable and can easily collapse, as recent landslides have shown.”
The area has had several major landslides due to severe weather. There was a 200-ton landslide in nearby Runswick Bay in late January.
