There is one new case of Covid-19 in managed isolation and none in the community, the Health Ministry announced on Saturday.
It was announced on Friday that there was a new case of the virus in the community – a family case contact announced on Tuesday, who works at KFC.
Three new community cases had been announced on Tuesday, relating to a South Auckland family who had previously tested positive for the virus.
The Health Ministry said Friday’s case worked out at KFC in Botany Downs, which is now considered a landmark.

This was because they were possibly infectious up to 48 hours before developing symptoms.
They developed symptoms while in quarantine at the Jet Park hotel, where they were transferred when other members of their household were confirmed positive Tuesday.
The ministry said 11 KFC employees who worked at the same time as the case were considered closest contacts.
They are to be tested on Saturday and are to be isolated for 14 days, along with their household contacts.
People who entered the store, at Ti Rakau Dr, between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 12.30 a.m. Tuesday’s are considered close contacts and must isolate at home until March 8.
The ministry said these people should also get tested on Saturday and then again on the 12th.
People who passed through the drive-through between 3.30pm. Mondays and 12:30 p.m. Tuesday’s are considered casual contacts and should be isolated at home until a negative test returns on day five.
These people should also be tested on Saturday and remain in isolation until they get the test results.
All contacts should call Healthline, the ministry said.
