Sarpreet Singh to return to Bayern Munich after club rescinds loan from FC Nürnberg

All White midfielder Sarpreet Singh returns to parent club Bayern Munich, effective immediately after the early termination of his loan contract with 1. FC Nürnberg.

Singh made 12 appearances for Nürnberg, but only six as a starter during a failed stint with the second-division club.

The original plan was for Singh to spend a full season with Nuremberg and return to Bayern on June 30, but both clubs agreed to terminate the deal five months earlier.

The 21-year-old was an unused substitute in Nuremberg’s 1-0 loss to Jahn Regensburg on Thursday (NZT).

“Together with Bayern and Sarpreet, we have agreed that this step is the right one for everyone. We wish him all the best for his sporting and private future, ”said Nuremberg sporting director Dieter Hecking.
