The Wiggles have been awarded places in managed isolation when their national tour begins in March.

A spokesperson for Managed Isolation and Quarantine told the Herald that the children’s group received vouchers for March.

“The vouchers will be assigned outside the rooms reserved for contingencies.

“This is the most practical solution to ensure that returning New Zealanders and critical workers do not lose spaces in managed isolation and to ensure that no eligible travelers under the emergency allocation process are lost, while finding a pragmatic solution to this situation.” .

The spokesman said it was a very unusual situation.

“It is important to note that the fact that someone obtains a visa to travel to New Zealand does not mean that we automatically give them a voucher in isolation.”

The group of children recently made a request to the New Zealand government for rooms.

More than a week ago, former national leader and father of three, Simon Bridges, directly asked authorities to intervene.

Bridges revealed that the children’s gang had missed space, claiming it was due to visa approval delays.

However, Immigration New Zealand said that eight people in the group had not yet applied, while the remaining 10 had done so on January 20.
