Rudy Giuliani, Joe Exotic, Ivanka Trump, among many others, Trump’s pardons are lost today.
He has snubbed some of his greatest allies.
Donald Trump has completed one of his last acts as the leader of the United States. After days of rumors, he has finally released the full list of Americans who will be granted presidential clemency.
And while the outgoing president granted clemency to 73 people and commuted the sentences of 70 others, some of his greatest allies notably disappeared from the list.
Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, “Tiger King” Joe Exotic, Julian Assange of Wikileaks, and Trump’s three oldest sons Eric, Ivanka and Donald Jr were rumored to have received a pardon, but are nowhere to be found. .
Some speculated that Trump would also forgive himself, an act that he evidently chose not to go through with.
One of the biggest names on the list is influential former Trump adviser Steve Bannon, who has yet to stand trial on charges related to fundraising for the border wall.
Trump also delivered his farewell speech to the American people, highlighting his administration’s accomplishments and vowing that his political movement will continue.
“As I prepare to hand over power to a new administration at noon Wednesday, I want you to know that the movement that we started is just beginning. There has never been anything like this,” Trump said in the speech, which was posted online at 4 a.m. pm ET.
“The belief that a nation should serve its citizens will not diminish, but will grow stronger day by day. As long as the American people hold deep and devoted love for the homeland in their hearts, there is nothing this nation cannot accomplish. “
