The wife of basketball star Tall Blacks, Thomas Abercrombie, has criticized the state of the managed isolation facility in Auckland where he is with his three children.

Monique Abercrombie posted photos on her Twitter account of horribly moldy accessories and accessories and wrote that one of her children was “bathing in mold.”

Abercrombie wrote that he was at the Naumi Hotel Auckland Airport, which advertises itself as a “luxury boutique hotel.”

She wrote that two of her three children, all under the age of five, had special needs, while the process for a medical exemption was also taking too long.

“Breakfast wasn’t delivered until 9:30 am, when I have special requirements for my 2 autistic children. There are no bread options. They don’t supply baby food … even if you have a baby, “he wrote.

“Trying to make my son a makeshift, silent and sensory safe space for him using pillows and supplies in our only room is impossible. All sitting in the dark and silent is impossible in a room. And he’s bathing in mold. “

When contacted by Stuff, the hotel staff member said they were unable to comment at the time on the complaint.

Thomas Abercrombie, in Australia preparing for the start of the ANBL season with the New Zealand Breakers, tweeted: “This is not right … I’m not asking for special treatment but surely they can do better than this …”.

A comment has been requested from the family.
