Police are investigating the death of a man on a Christchurch property.
Police were called to the man’s death at a Linwood property on England St, near the intersection with Hereford St, around 2.50pm Sunday.

A scene guard remained in place overnight.

A police spokeswoman previously said they were “working to determine all the circumstances” of the man’s death.

Police were called to the property around 2.50pm Sunday.
An autopsy will be performed on Monday.
Just before 9 p.m. Sunday, two police patrol cars were at the scene and there was cordon tape in the front of the property. There was a big blue tent in the driveway.
A close resident, Shea, who declined to give her last name, said there had been suspicious activity on the property in the past and that there were always people coming and going.
