A flight from the Netherlands to Brazil on Boxing Day was forced to flip over the Atlantic Ocean thanks to a broken windshield in the cabin.
KLM flight KL705 had been more than four hours into the 12-hour trip when a “loud bang” was heard, including from some passengers, reports the Herald of aviation.
The outer glass of one of the windshields had cracked.
The airline said in a statement that at no time did the pilots or passengers of the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner have problems.
