Police are seeking information on a silver Nissan and a dark-colored vehicle seen near the scene of the Wellington homicide.

Police launched a homicide investigation after Rau Tongia was killed around 4.30am on Sunday, December 20, at a property on Percy Dyett Drive in Karori.

Police were notified at 8.30 a.m. that he had been found dead.

Detective Inspector Darrell Harpur said police identified and located a silver Nissan Dualis pickup with registration number MTG725 in their investigation.
