According to TMZ (which was quoting a representative of the airline they spoke with), American airline JetBlue banned rapper Lil Pump for a prolonged incident that took place over the past weekend.
This incident is said to have been sparked by the 20-year-old rapper’s refusal to wear a mask, before deteriorating into a longer series of misbehavior.
As the rep said TMZ, an individual on a Saturday flight from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Los Angeles ended up becoming verbally abusive with the crew on board, removing his mask during the flight and then refusing to put it on even when asked to do so.
This montage of a scene was judged to be messy enough that police were asked to be on hold when the flight arrived at LAX. But he didn’t reach the level where the police had to arrest Lil Pump, as there are no such police records of an incident / arrest.

Summarized by TMZ, the captain took note of what happened and the necessary consequences due to Pump’s alleged behavior. Speaking of the captain’s opinion on the matter, TMZ wrote the following:
“At first, he says that Pump was just not adhering to his mask policy, but then he said he was sneezing and coughing into a blanket without a mask (maybe on purpose) … and that more than a supervisor he needed to meet with them, like Pump it had to be treated ‘firmly’. “
A correspondence sent after that says that Pump finally stopped his protest and donned a mask.
At some point later, he used Instagram to briefly curse the airline in a clip that was later uploaded (though not by Pump) to YouTube.
The rapper is known for his support for the President of the United States, Donald Trump, and joined him on stage at a rally earlier this year. In a tweet posted by rap and hip-hop platform DatPiff, he also called Covid a “hoax.”
