It’s a struggle to think of Christmas gift ideas for our family every year, but what do people who seem to have it all get?

Well, when Meghan Markle faced this issue in 2017, she decided to lead with humor.

Three years ago, the queen broke tradition when she invited Prince Harry’s fiancé to spend Christmas with the royal family at Sandringham, just a month after their engagement was announced.

Before this, other halves were only allowed to attend the united celebration after the wedding, as in the case of Kate Middleton.

Take a look at Meghan’s Christmas presents to royalty, including one that was chewed on by Her Majesty’s corgis.

According to the royal biography Finding Freedom, Meghan wasn’t sure what to get her future brother-in-law, Prince William, so she opted for a prank gift.

Authors Carolyn Durand and Omid Scobie wrote, “Meghan’s biggest challenge was finding the perfect gifts to entertain her new extended family.

“At least one of his gifts was a huge success: a spoon for William engraved with ‘cereal killer’ on the end of the utensil’s shallow bowl.”

Humorous gifts are believed to be a favorite tradition in the royal household, and Kate Middleton reportedly gave Harry a “grow your own girlfriend” kit for his first Christmas at Sandringham in 2011.

In a nod to their German ancestry, the royal family often exchange gifts at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

Speaking to the Daily Star, an insider claims that Meghan even bought the Queen a funny gift.

“Meghan bought a little hamster that sings on a rope for Her Majesty,” they said.

“It was a lot of fun, especially when the corgis tried to grab the toy.

“She laughed and said, ‘You can keep my dogs company!'”

Unfortunately, however, the hamster did not last long and the newspaper reported that Meghan’s toy hamster was “ripped apart” by the Queen’s corgis before the end of the holidays.

Although it is not known if Meghan continued the humorous theme of Kate’s Christmas present, she did her best for her birthday the following month.

In Finding Freedom, the authors claim that Meghan gifted her future sister-in-law a designer leather notebook from Smythson, which can cost up to $ 400.

The book states: “Smythson’s soft leather notebook helped break the ice, as did Meghan’s cooing over 20-month-old Charlotte.”

In 2016, Meghan and Harry had only been dating for a few months when Christmas rolled around.

On her lifestyle blog The Tig, the Duchess urged readers to be “creative” with their gifts.

She wrote: “It’s easy to get another shirt for your man, but you’ll likely steal it for pajamas anyway.

“Instead, give him something creative that he’ll really enjoy like these little gems.”

Along with some colorful socks, Meghan hinted that she could buy her special guy a $ 160 Crosley record player or a $ 900 Brookstone pocket projector.
