British supermodel Stella Tennant dies days after turning 50

British model Stella Tennant died just days after her 50th birthday, her family said.

The model was one of the faces of the French fashion house Chanel and a regular on the covers of major fashion magazines, including fashion and harper’s bazaar.

“It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Stella Tennant on December 22, 2020,” her family said in a statement.

“His family asks that their privacy be respected. Arrangements for a memorial service will be announced at a later date.”

Police told the BBC that there were no suspicious circumstances in the death, which occurred five days after his 50th birthday.

Fashion brand Versace paid tribute to Tennant, saying that “she was the muse of Gianni Versace for many years and a friend of the family.

“We will miss you forever Stella. Rest in peace.”
