This is the dramatic moment when paramedics performed CPR on a baby elephant after it was hit by a motorcycle in Thailand.
The month-old jumbo jet fell to the ground and was crying in pain after a cyclist collided with it in Chanthaburi province on December 19.
The elephant was injured while the motorcyclist, Anan Cherdsoongnern, 53, was thrown into the air and fell to the ground about 20 feet away.
The baby elephant was lying on its side while crying loudly, which was overheard by staff from the nearby Wildland Fire Control office.

A passing driver called emergency services and paramedics who were nearby at the time rushed to the scene to treat the elephant.
When the baby elephant began to lose consciousness and had a weak pulse, one of the volunteers began CPR on the animal.
His pulse slowly returned, but he was still unable to get up properly as the other medics carried the injured cyclist on a stretcher. The baby elephant was seen able to stand up after a few moments, although it was still unable to walk properly.
One of the rescue team, Lek, said: “We gave the elephant first aid and then one of my colleagues had to do CPR.
“It was such an agonizing time. I am glad the baby survived his injuries and is with his mother now.”
Lek added: “It was dark when the accident happened. We think the young elephant was spooked by something and ran onto the road, but we will wait until the wounded man asks him exactly how it happened. ”
