Hollywood stars are gracing the halls with all the glitz and glamor they couldn’t bring to the red carpets this year.
Flipping the adage ‘go big or go home’, many of the mansion-owning A-listers have gone big and went home with trees tall enough to reach even the tallest stallions in southern California.
Most have opted for a traditional color scheme of green, gold, and red, and like us, many are setting up decorations as early as the end of Halloween to make the most of the joy of holiday decorating.

With no one holding the bottom of the ladder as the country singer climbs to the top of this very tall tree, Option B seems likely.
The wall of windows and natural exposed beams evoke all kinds of cozy sensations despite the cavernous size of the living room.
Martha Stewart
If you are placing “dozens” of trees, at least one of them must be white.
Decor queen Martha Stewart has a touch of snow (admittedly fake) at her summer home in Maine. It’s full of matching sparkly decorations and the occasional pineapple.
Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner
The Jenner twins, who appeared in Architectural overview In recent years, they have relied on their natural style for the festive season.
Beauty mogul Kylie is all about taking things above all else. She has opted for a huge tree, simply decorated with golden lights and delicate painted glass ornaments of iconic Christmas characters.
The Kendall model prefers to keep things simpler and more classic. Its regular-sized tree is also adorned with golden lights, but the real stopper of the show is the mantle. A wreath of flowers creeps over a warm fire and a pair of stockings hang over it. It looks like something out of the page of a storybook.
Chrissy Teigan and John Legend
Guests approaching Chrissy Teigan and John Legend’s front doors for Christmas Day will have no problem finding their way. The gates are flanked by larger-than-life nutcracker dolls and a couple of pine trees dusted with artificial snow.
Note the yellow-leaved poinsettias around the base of the trees, the only slight departure from a traditional Christmas color scheme.
Tan France
Queer eye Fashion darling Tan France couldn’t wait for Christmas. She had this red and gold number for Halloween and added a bit of her personal flair with a sherpa-style tree skirt.
Justin and Hailey Bieber
The Biebers shared a time-lapse video of their tree decoration this year.
They go for all the gold lights and a big star on top, as well as all kinds of animal ornaments. There is even a dog with a hat if you look closely.
Mindy kaling
Of course, the holidays are not just about Christmas. The multi-talented and hilarious Mindy Kaling shared a picture of her blue menorah with all the candles lit “for dramatic effect.”
She often features this little corner of her home with a red leather upholstered booth and a colorful painting hanging over her head.
Catherine Zeta Jones
Catherine Zeta-Jones proves that less can be more with a small tree that manages to be elegant and surprising.
The tree skirt is made of dreamy faux clouds and the tree itself is loaded with white lights and red wreaths of love hearts. To one side is a set of candles lit in lanterns and not one, but two styles of garlands placed above the stair railing.
It’s unclear how exactly he hurt his foot putting together this scene, but it was apparently worth it.
Delta goodrem
Delta Goodrem called in a Christmas tree designer to do the heavy lifting on her home and it shows. Excuse the pun, but it’s hard to see the individual tree ornaments – it’s all an artistic group of so many icicles and flowers.
Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky
Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky have the tree that most closely resembles what you can find here in New Zealand, which makes sense since they are only on the other side of the ditch.
The splendid tree, which appears to be a true pine, towers over the family at their Byron Bay mansion.
It has been decorated with gold and red ornaments and tinsel. Warm yellow lights match the trim and a crystal star features prominently at the top.
Ashley Tisdale
High school musical Star Ashley Tisdale appears to have pulled a sheet out of the stylebook of her career pitching character Sharpay Evans, aka the biggest fan of all things pink.
The lesson? If the whole tree is colorful, you can remove the decorations.
