Tom Cruise has reportedly called on time at the beginning of filming for his latest movie, just a week after a recording of him attacking crew members on the set of Mission: Impossible 7.
Sun reported that after his now-infamous spiel on set against crew members who did not follow proper procedures for the coronavirus, Cruise decided to finish filming early, rather than flying to Miami to spend time with his son Connor for Christmas.
“It has been exhausting to keep production going for so long, and it is not getting any easier: Christmas cannot come soon enough,” a source told the newspaper. “It’s the end of a really difficult year, and a little time out seems like a good idea for everyone as tensions have been building for a while.”
Five crew members resigned last week in the wake of Cruise’s outburst in which he was heard yelling at crew members that he believed they were too close together.

“I’m on the phone with all the f … late night studios, insurance companies, producers, and they look at us and use us to make their movies. We are creating thousands of jobs that you m … …. ……, ”Cruise was heard yelling.
“I told you and now I want it and if you don’t, you’re out. We’re not closing this f …… movie! Got it?” added. “If I see him again, you’re … gone.”
While the initial shutdown was unexpected, the move was a welcome twist that will hopefully give everyone involved in the production a chance to unzip from what has been a grueling filming schedule ruined by Covid-related delays.
Filming of the seventh and eighth film in the Mission Impossible The franchise resumed production in September after being halted in February amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Footage from the first day of filming showed Cruise performing a death-defying mid-air motorcycle stunt. The thrilling clip showed Cruise at speed down a massive ramp and plunging into the air before a parachute opened to allow him to land safely below.
A few weeks later, Cruise, 58, was seen filming a stunt on the roof of a train in Norway.
The film has a scheduled release date of November 19, 2021.
