Donald Trump has reportedly been asking his aides what they think of The Apprentice.
A new report indicates that Donald Trump has had private discussions about the possibility of restarting his reality show. The newbie.
Two sources familiar with the Trump talks told the Daily beast who has been referring to the show in recent weeks, in what appears to be a private concession of President-elect Joe Biden’s victory in the November election.
Trump allegedly asked his aides questions like “How would you like to see The newbie Do you come back? “And remember The newbie? “
NBC first aired the reality show in 2004, where contestants competed to work for Trump.
Ultimately, it became a hit, earning Trump more than $ 400 million during his 11 years with the series, according to a New York Times report.
It is unknown if Trump is really contemplating a revival or how much he has discussed the idea with producer and creator Mark Burnett.
A Burnett spokesperson told the Daily Beast that it was “not true” that he had spoken to Trump about a new television show.
It is also unclear whether NBC or another network would want to air a show starring Trump, as he will likely be affected by a series of legal investigations once his term ends.
Trump has reportedly revised the idea of a Apprentice reboot earlier. Last year, the outlet revealed that it had spoken with Burnett about creating a political version of the show.
Trump later denied such conversations, tweeting that the story was a “bogus reporting.”
