Despite reports that the initial threat mentioned a possible bombing and shootings, officials did not provide further details today.

The police said it is “a complex investigation” and it is important that they work on it “in a systematic and thorough manner”, and therefore cannot reveal the specific nature of the threat.

It comes as more than 1,800 students have canceled or postponed their graduation ceremonies this week and some are being rescheduled for 2021.

A spokesperson for the university told 1 NEWS that next week’s ceremonies on Wednesday and Saturday are, at this stage, scheduled to continue.
