Police have released new images of a car that they believe may be related to a homicide in South Auckland.
Detectives are hoping someone will recognize the car, which was caught on CCTV after Meliame Fisi’ihoi, 57, was shot and killed in her Favona home.
Following the October CCTV release of a black BMW 320i sedan driving away from Fisi’ihoi’s Calthorp Close property, police received further security camera footage in South Auckland.
They have now been able to track the movements of the car from Favona through Otahuhu, Otara and finally to Flatbush, where it was last seen traveling east on Donegal Park Drive.

Detective Sergeant Karen Bright said she was sure there must be someone who knew the driver of the car.
He urged anyone with information to come forward and tell the police what they know.
Almost a year ago, Fisi’ihoi was shot through a window at his home in the early hours of January 15 this year.
Police said Fisi’ihoi had been watching television around 2.45 am when he heard a noise outside.
He walked to the front parlor window and was fatally shot.
Manu Fisi’ihoi said Police ten 7 In March, her mother’s death had hit her sister the most, and she had given birth just a month after the shooting.
Detectives believe that Fisi’ihoi’s property was targeted specifically because of people known to frequent the address.
However, Bright made it clear that Fisi’ihoi was a hard-working churchgoer who was not involved in anything illegal.
The 57-year-old woman left behind a husband, seven children, three grandchildren and was able to make everyone feel special.
